My husband’s friend bought a used jacket and in the pocket, he found a Nikola Tesla medal/ award. I don’t have all the details, but he did ask me if I could find out the worth of this medal. I would just like to know where I need to go to find such details.Submited by:JenniferW

I think Well, the honorarium went to the recipient.
The bronze medal isn’t worth much.
The gold medal is worth it’s weight in gold.
As this is only awarded 1 per year, there are very few people who have one, and the owner probably would like it back.
A quick email should be able to find who lost theirs.

1. It is worth the most to the owner. Be kind, find the owner, and return it.
2. If you are not inclined to do that: ask for a reward from the owner but this is very unethical.
3. See who bids for it on eBay.
#1 is by far the best choice!
